I have chemical sensitivities on top of allergies. Sitting in this day after day was causing physical illness for me and several of my coworkers. First, I sat the purifier on top of my desk and didn't notice much of a difference at all. I was still being overwhelmed with the vapors, but the cleaned air comes out of the TOP, which was over my head while I worked. I set it on the floor and it made a huge difference. It can't clean ALL of the perfumed air, but if you sit within 5 feet of it you really can't detect the fragrance anymore and it's much easier to breathe. This works fine for me because my solution was to make my 8+ hours in an office healthier. If I were to use this under a normal circumstance, such as a bad cooking odor that isn't consistently refreshed throughout the day, it would work very well. I'm very happy with how well this works. I also put the app on my phone and can just use the app to turn up the fan speed and also set a timer so it will start cleaning the air around my desk before I even get in. I love how easy the filter is to clean but I did learn that's its best to use a duster on it first before you try to wash it under water. Overall, I really love this air purifier, it's making life in the office so much more pleasant. Also, I bragged so much about this that a coworker purchased one right after I did.

After 6 months of continuous use, our filter still boasts an impressive 49% life remaining. What sets this purifier apart is its intuitive feature that notifies me precisely when it's time to replace the filter and alerts me when air quality is subpar. As a passionate chef who frequently cooks at high temperatures, I used to suffer from a persistent cough. Thanks to the Levoit's air quality detection capabilities, I now adjust my cooking habits and increase the purifier's speed during high-heat cooking sessions. The results have been phenomenal—I have witnessed a significant improvement in my cough, which has now completely vanished!
Moreover, the convenient lock button ensures my toddler's safety by preventing any unwanted meddling. Despite a small toy mishap, the purifier remained unharmed, and I could effortlessly retrieve the item. Bonus points for the hassle-free filter replacement process. House smells musty when it rains. So much dust build up so quickly.
Family members noticed a difference in air quality almost immediately after one night of use. They said they slept better and able to breathe better. We have one on first floor and one in master bedroom and a smaller unit in another bedroom. The house no longer smells musty when it rains and the addition of the air purifiers along with the dehumidifier really makes a difference. Allergies are better as evidenced by not going through as many tissues! It will be interesting to see what the filter captured when it’s time to clean it or replace it. Oh, and also, I’m not having to dust as much which was another reason we decided to try these. The air quality ring on the top is pretty awesome I started it in a very dusty room after some light remodeling and sure enough it lit up bright red and after a couple of days no more dust.
The prong broke on the power adapter after only owning a few weeks—not sure what happened there. I contacted customer support and they responded within a few hours. Despite not being a covered warranty concern, they sent out a replacement and it was in my mailbox within a few days of my initial inquiry. Now that is amazing.

5.0 من 5 نجوم a REALISTIC look at the Levoit 200S
اللون : ابيضعملية شراء معتمدةI want to start off by saying we really like this air purifier for many reasons. However, I do believe I need to set some realistic expectations for what a $200 air purifier should accomplish. It was mentioned that someone’s home still has dust after using this… yes, you will still have to dust your home. If you have a pet, you will still have to clean the pet hair. I have noticed LESS dust on surfaces, but it won’t make it dust free. Another note, make sure you REMOVE the plastic cover from the filter when you receive the purifier. It will not work if the plastic is still on. Also, this is advertised to cover around 1800 sq ft, but it realistically it can’t pull all the air from under closed doors or around walls etc. I find it helpful to move it from room to room intermittently to try and get the best purification possible. For the budget price this purifier is, it does do a really good job of improving air quality and being super reasonable to maintain.
Pros:
- It has a washable pre-filter. Huge $$ saver. And you can physically see the dust it’s filtering out of the air which is nice.
- The HEPA/ Carbon filter only needs to be replaced every 12 months or so and is around $60.
- it’s fairly quiet for what it is. It’s not silent, nor should it be. We have it on setting 2 during the day and it’s fine. We amp it up for 3 or 4 when cooking which is quite a bit louder but manageable for a shorter time.
- the app is pretty good and will alert you when air quality is low. It’s fairly user friendly.
- it definitely reduces odours when cooking. If we fry something the smell is usually completely gone within an hour.
- we have found our house smells better overall after running the 200S continuously.
- it’s rectangular shape makes it easy to fit into any space. You can have it up against a wall which is something you can’t really do with the circular ones.
- it’s fairly aesthetic and doesn’t ruin the look of your home.
Cons/ unknowns:
- we have yet to test this on super stronger odours. I don’t think it would do the best trying to filter out strong smoke smells. We will test it on a musty smelling home soon… hope it works.
- the carbon part of the filter is pretty see through as pictured, so I fear a lot of air isn’t sufficiently making it through the carbon to reduce odours. I wonder if higher quality ones have a woven type carbon filter which might do better at quickly reducing odours.
- it lags a bit at telling you the air quality is poor. Generally when cooking I feel like the air is gross a few minutes before it alerts me. But I really don’t think a few minutes is a big deal. It’s just not instantaneous.
Overall, if this fits in your budget, I would say it’s a really great purifier to buy. We will likely purchase a second one to run in different areas of our home. اللون : ابيضعملية شراء معتمدةSi esta a buen precio/con descuento y tienes problemas para respirar sobre todo por las noches y sobre todo si crees poderlo atribuir a la calidad del aire, lo recomiendo, seguramente te va a ayudar. Lo único malo hasta ahora que llevo 7 meses con el ha sido que cuando hace calor el cuarto se calienta por lo que si lo quieres usar con ventanas cerradas es casi forzoso tener que encender el aire acondicionado. Con frío no hay ese problema y se puede usar cómodamente.
Si te sirve bajo esas condiciones de describo lo recomiendo ampliamente, sobre todo también si tienes mascotas que pueden dejar más partículas adicionales en el aire.
El tema de la aplicación es curioso porque aparentemente esta monitoreando la calidad de aire y te avisa cuando detecta calidad de aire baja y que el purificador no esta encendido, nunca me he dedicado a verificar que en efecto haya una baja calidad del aire que corresponda con esas notificaciones, pero bueno la aplicación en general es buena pero no la he usado para automatizar, excepto para encenderlo sin tener que pararme de la cama y para eso funciona bien, seguramente la programación que le puedes hacer debe funcionar bien también.
No he tenido que cambiar el filtro hasta ahora y a mi parecer ha seguido haciendo bien su función, tal vez cambie el filtro el año que entra, no lo he usado tanto, al principio sí como 1 mes seguido luego ya fue muy intermitente, posiblemente me recuperó un tanto mi tolerancia a la calidad del aire y más delante lo requeriré otra vez con más frecuencia cuando nuevamente baje mi tolerancia. Así ha sido mi percepción, no quiero decir con esto que así funciona. اللون : ابيضعملية شراء معتمدةWe had a smaller cylindrical air purifier that we moved around the house as needed, but we wanted to something effective for larger rooms. I looked at all of the various Levoit models and ended up choosing this one because of the form factor and its ability to help pull odors out of the air due to the amount of carbon in each filter. On the medium setting it is very quiet. I love that the display automatically turns off when the room is dark so if you are using it in a bedroom you don't have glaring LED's all night. The visual indicator for air quality is a nice touch and seems to be fairly accurate. After cooking a meal that created a bit of smoke that the hood fan struggled to contain, the air purifier reported poor air quality. Within about 5 minutes it had cycled the kitchen air back to good air quality and the indicator went from red to orange to green.
The VeSync app provides some additional smart features. It probably isn't essential for day to day use if you just want to control it manually using the unit controls. I happened to already have the VeSync app for a smart scale I had so it was very easy to add the air purifier. Otherwise you will need to register an account before adding the device in the app. This allows you a bit more granular control, real time remote monitoring and remote control to change fan speed or power on/off. You can also setup schedules if you wanted.
Having a unit this size makes quick work of larger spaces, and in smaller bedrooms, it is even faster. Changing the filter is fast and easy. Compared to the small cylinder model I have, I much prefer this format. I kept having issues with the small cylinder unit bottom falling off due the twist off bottom filter design. In terms of performance, this isn't the top of the line, but it is one of the best at removing odors and air particulate. With three pets in the house, it has been a great addition.
